13/1/08
Sarah entered one picture for the Gallery 54 Exhibition and it was
sold to a member before the exhibition opened. On December 1st she
brought two pictures along to be photographed , prior to submitting them
for the Guildhall Exhibition. By then, one had already been
sold.
Exhibition at Wanstead House
This went very well. We had excellent weather, lots of visitors
and sold a fair number of pictures. Mary Thomsit organised
refreshments and many people enjoyed the homemade cakes and the many
varieties of tea and coffee.
This was our first public exhibition at Wanstead House and many of us
had suspected that we would have few visitors and sales. Luckily
we were wrong.
